WARNING: spelling of "foreign" words and general sloppiness.

I have seen the name Caesar spelled in a dozen different ways, plus other sloppy mistakes. That's not good.

You are dealing with a foreign culture and you are expected to pay attention to the correct spelling of words that are new to you.

Spelling accuracy and proper punctuation (use of capital letters where required, commas and periods) must be the default mode for your comments. The use of paragraphs is also important to enhance the efficacy of your communications.

Review your previous comments and identify the aspects that need improvement.

  1. I most definitely see how there could be improvements to my first blog post. These mistakes relate to both the format of my comment, and a few sloppy mistakes in the actual statements I was writing about.

For one, I did not use paragraphs at first, and now see that as an issue. The use of paragraphs makes writing more organized, and these blog posts are no different than any other writing. Formatting writing properly is one of the keys of good writing. I will use paragraphs and better organization from this point forward.

I also made a mistake in mixing up some names in my first point, and then had to re-comment my corrections onto an additional comment. I realized this was careless and it is key I am stating names and other new words correctly in order to hand in the best work possible.

These things will be taken into consideration for future blog posts.

  2. Looking back at my blog post I did notice some errors. I have to make sure I proof read before I post. There were some silly mistakes that could have been avoided.
I enjoy the films and hopefully my future blog posts can show that.

  3. After rereading my first blog post, I noticed that although there were no spelling errors, my grammar and writing style could be improved in the future. My point might have come across even clearer if I had used paragraphs or if I had placed my commas and other punctuation marks differently.

  4. Thank you. This was not meant to chastise anyone, but to make everyone aware that effective communication of the professional kind starts with good form. Boring and pedantic? Maybe, but don't tell your future bosses...

  5. For my next blog posts I want to write more and also make the structure of my posts as clear as possible. As other people have mentioned, it's nice to read something when it is broken down into organized paragraphs; it helps to group your thoughts and ideas more effectively. I think I've paid good attention to the spelling of character/location names and I'm going to make sure I continue with that in my future blog posts.

  6. I think my first post wasn't that bad. I believe if I work on my grammar a bit more and pick better words, then my posts will improve. Nonetheless, I think my start was decent.

  7. I looked back at my first post and wasn't able to pick up any errors. I always reread my work before I submit or print to make sure that I don't slip up with silly mistakes. I will continue to do so in the future.

  8. I do not believe I made any errors in my first post however I do believe I can work on using a paragraph structure. My first post was more so a comment in a couple sentences rather than a full organized response.

  9. I think I could have made more use of separate paragraphs to distinguish between different points in my post. I will keep this in mind for my future posts.

  10. My blog posts might benefit from a clearer structure with paragraphs and topic sentences. Also, more specific references to the films never go amiss. I believe my grammar and spelling has been okay so far, but I resolve to proofread more throughout this course.

In the future, I would like to make posts with more original theses and reply to others with more unique points and interpretations.

  11. After rereading my first post, I can see that I should've completed my thoughts thoroughly throughout my answer. Also, I missed commas in places they should've been. I will be more thorough with my blog posts and assignments in the future.
